Hi my name is Dizzi Dulcimer. I have been playing and performing with the Hammered Dulcimer since 2000 and have been selling and teaching the Dulcimer since 2007.

I have been working hard over the last few years to create a full Hammered Dulcimer curriculum thats accessible for total beginners and people who do not read music. This curriculum has been designed so you can learn the Dulcimer to using visual patterns and by training you ear to become not only a great player but also able to improvise and arrange your own compositions!

How to use this USB Stick

Plug in the USB stick to your computer and click on the icon that comes up on your desktop screen. Once opened you will find 3 folders called
1.Video lessons
2.PDF worksheets

3.Sheet music.

This USB stick includes 116 tuition videos, hundreds of PDF worksheets and all the sheet music to my original compositions!

Folder 1 - Video lessons - This folder has 10 folders inside with video lessons split into 10 separate units.

If you are a beginner I recommend that you start in unit 1 video number 1 and follow the numbered videos throughout the various units in order from beginning to end.
If you are an intermediate or advance player feel free to watch the videos in any order you like. The lessons get progressively harder as you work your way from Unit 1 to 10

Folder 2 - PDF worksheets - this folder has all the accompanying worksheets that support each video. If possible it is a good idea to open the pdf and have it on your screen along side the video. Alternatively you can print the PDF to have it close by when watching the video. The folder has all the units that have accompanying worksheets (not every video has a worksheet but may do)

Folder 3 - Sheet Music - This folder has all the sheet music for my original compositions from my album Dulci solo. They accompany Unit 8 which is full of videos where I teach you how to play all of these compositions.
There is also another folder with accompanying sheet music to the songs I have taught during my live facebook lessons.

PLEASE NOTE... Unit 10 is full of live recorded videos that I taught in the Facebook tuition Group. Because they are recorded live the video/lighting/sound quality will vary from lesson to lesson. Usually the first 5/10 minutes is usually just me talking before the lesson gets under way. These lessons are varied and cover all sorts of areas of dulcimer playing
